Mauricio Guerrero has worked with top artists in the music industry including Beyonce, Shakira, Neil Diamond, Celine Dion and Placido Domingo. Dr. Guerrero has received 6 Grammy awards for his work on Luis Miguel’s Romances CD, Gloria Estefan’s Alma Caribena CD, and Shakira’s Unplugged and Fijacion Oral Vol I CDs, and others. A native of Santiago Chile, Guerrero studied engineering and audio engineering at the Universidad de Chile, graduating in 1988.
At the Cornel School of Contemporary Music at Shepherd University, Dr. Guerrero teaches Recording and Music Production.

One of the most wanted L.A.-based session guitarists during the ’70s and ’80s. Has worked for The Temptations, Gerald Alston, Bobby Womack, Luther Vandross, Patrice Rushen, Jacksons, Pointer Sisters and many more.
He has also released some solo records with Atlantic at the end of the ’80s and other, more smooth jazz oriented, in the beginning of the new century on Blue Note.
