Commercial Use & Licensing

This page summarizes what you can do with audio you download from GetMeAudio in plain language. It doesn't replace the Terms of Service, which governs the relationship legally.

What's included

• Commercial use is included for every audio file you download — videos, ads, podcasts, courses, client work, internal business use. No watermark, and no separate licence to buy.
• You get the finished audio to use, generated from voices we license under paid, commercial-use-permitting agreements with our speech providers.
• This applies the same way regardless of which quality tier (Standard or Natural) you download.

What isn't included

• Reselling the raw audio as a standalone voice or TTS product — you can use the audio you download in your own work, but you can't repackage it as a voice pack or competing text-to-speech service.
• Using the audio to train or improve a speech-synthesis model.
• Presenting a synthetic voice as a real, identifiable person's voice without their consent.
• Free device-voice Drafts (the free, unlimited drafting mode that uses your own device's built-in voice) are for checking your script before you pay — the licensing above covers downloaded audio, not draft-only output.

Ownership

Downloaded audio is yours to use under the terms above. Your script text remains yours; you grant us only the license needed to synthesize, cache and deliver the audio.
