Drafting is free and unlimited — write your script, add pauses and music, and hear it with a voice built into your device without an account. Want to try script editing along with a voice and not lose preview minutes? Try the Device-Based Editor — voices are limited based on your device settings. Previewing the real cloud voices in Step 2 is free too, with a limit: a couple of short previews without an account, then a daily allowance (~5 minutes of new audio per day) once you sign in. You pay only when you download a finished voiceover.

AudioMinutes are prepaid download credit. You top up once (e.g. ₹49 / $5 packs) and spend minutes only when you download. One balance covers both quality tiers — Natural voices consume more per second than Standard. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically.

Yes — each top-up is valid for 12 months from purchase, disclosed before you buy, with reminder emails 30 and 7 days before expiry. Minutes are spent oldest-first, so a new top-up never shortens the life of an older one.

No. Previews are full quality — the exact voice and engine you'll download, deliberately, so you always know what you're buying. Previews are limited by length (~30 seconds per clip, a few minutes per day), not by quality. There is no watermark on anything.

Both are real cloud-synthesized voices. Natural voices are the most human-sounding tier (₹9/min · ~$0.25/min); Standard voices are very good and cheaper (₹5/min · ~$0.15/min). Try both in Preview — the price difference is shown before you download.

Yes. Downloaded voiceovers are yours to use in your videos, podcasts, ads, courses, and client work, including monetized content. The exceptions: you can't resell the raw audio as a voice/TTS product, use it to train competing speech models, or imply the voice is a real person endorsing something.

Pick a built-in track or upload your own MP3/WAV. The music loops under your voice and auto-ducks — it drops while the voice speaks and swells back in pauses. Volume and ducking are adjustable, and the downloaded MP3 has the mix baked in.

The draft uses a voice built into your browser or device — instant and free, good for checking wording, pacing, and the music mix. The preview and download use cloud neural voices, which is what you actually buy. Draft to iterate, preview to decide.

The catalog spans 150+ languages and accents across both quality tiers, including strong Indian-language coverage (Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and more). Every voice has a free sample you can play before signing in — browse them from the voice picker in the editor.

We don't offer cash refunds (AudioMinutes are prepaid credit, not a stored-value wallet). If something goes wrong — a failed download, a billing error — we make it right by re-crediting minutes to your balance. Contact support from the Help page.

Yes — enter a target length in Fit to time (e.g. 58 seconds for a 60-second slot) and the download is time-stretched to match without changing pitch, as long as the target is reasonably close to the natural length.

No. Everything — script editing, drafting, previews, the final MP3 mix — runs in your browser. Works on desktop and mobile; no app, plugin, or upload of your files to third parties for mixing.

Yes — add a second speaker in the Speakers panel and give each one its own voice. Mark who's talking with `<speaker 1/>` / `<speaker 2/>` (or `<speaker "Name"/>`) and the editor splits your script by speaker automatically, in Draft, Preview, and Download alike.

Two, for now. It's enough for interviews, two-host podcasts, and dialogue-style scripts, and both speakers share the same quality tier (Standard or Natural) so pricing stays simple and predictable.

Yes — that's how GetMeAudio prices. There's no monthly plan to pick: drafting is free and unlimited, and you only spend prepaid AudioMinutes when you download a finished file, at a fixed rate (₹5/min Standard, ₹9/min Natural) regardless of how much you top up at once.

Yes. Insert pause places an exact silence anywhere in your script, from 0.1 seconds up to 10 minutes per pause, with no limit on how many pauses a script can have — unlike some tools where long break tags get ignored or multi-pause scripts become unreliable.

Yes — one download can produce up to 60 minutes of audio. It's a browser-safety limit (the final mix/encode happens in your browser, and an unbounded file risks hanging the tab), not a pricing restriction. For anything longer, split your script into a few downloads and join the MP3s afterward in any free audio editor or online joiner — your AudioMinutes cost is the same either way.

Not yet — scripts are pasted or typed directly into the editor. If you have text in a PDF or Word document, copy and paste the text in; there's no length limit on what you can paste.

Yes — the voice picker has a gender filter alongside language and quality tier, so you can narrow straight to every male or female voice in a given language.

Yes. The editor autosaves to this browser as you type — you'll see a Saved to browser badge at the top of Step 1. Your script, voice, settings and pronunciation rules survive reloads and sign-in detours. It is saved on this device and browser only: clearing site data, using a private window, or switching to another device or browser will not bring it back, so use Save for anything you want to keep or move.

Click Save in the Step 1 toolbar to download a small project file (.gma.json) — on Chrome and Edge you get a Save As dialog to pick the folder. It keeps your script, speakers, voice and quality, speed, volume and music settings, fit-to-time target and pronunciation rules. Click Open on any device or browser and choose that file to continue exactly where you left off. It is free and does not use any AudioMinutes.

Yes — click Import subtitles in the Step 1 toolbar and choose a .srt or .vtt file. Each subtitle line becomes a line of your script, with the gaps between lines carried over as pauses. The original per-line timing is not kept: GetMeAudio times the new narration itself, so it will not match the original video frame-for-frame. Importing is undoable, and you can then edit the script, add pauses and speakers, and download a fresh matching .SRT or .VTT.
