Step 1 · Script, Edit, Fine Tune with Auto Breathe, Add Pauses and Speakers. Type or paste your script. Click anywhere and Insert pause for an exact silence (visible as a chip), or Auto-breathe to add natural gaps after sentences.

Device-Based Editor — free, unlimited. Want to try script editing along with a voice and not lose preview minutes? Under your script, click Testing pacing? Try a free device-voice check to play it with a voice built into your device, instantly, no account needed. The voices available depend on your device settings, and it plays with your Step 2 speed, volume and music settings. Use Play selection to hear just the highlighted part. Iterate as much as you like — drafts never cost anything.

Step 2 · Studio AI Voice, Speed, Volume, Background Music & Ambience, Pronunciation Correction. Pick a cloud voice and quality tier (Natural is the most human, Standard is cheaper), set speed and volume, add background music or an ambience (music auto-ducks under the voice), fix pronunciations with Pronunciation, then press Play script. Previews are full quality — exactly what you'll download — up to ~30 seconds per clip. You get a couple of short previews without an account; after that, sign in for a free daily preview allowance (your time left is shown in Step 2). Previews are capped because cloud synthesis costs real money.

Download. Sign in, then render the full script with your pauses and the music mixed in, as an MP3 with no watermark. Optionally Fit to time to hit an exact duration. Downloads spend prepaid AudioMinutes; the exact cost is shown before you confirm.

Tips

• Speed, volume and music are set once, in Step 2, and apply to the device-voice pacing check, the real-voice preview and the download alike — what you hear is what you get.
• Save your work as a project file (Save project in the script toolbar) — it keeps the script, pauses, voice, music, and pronunciation rules, and opens on any device with Open project.
• Select any part of the script to preview a specific sentence instead of the beginning — previews (whole script or a selection) always play up to ~30 seconds per clip.
• The editor autosaves — your script, voice, and settings survive reloads and sign-in detours.
• If a draft voice fails to play (some browser voices are flaky), pick another draft voice — the real-voice preview is unaffected.

Limits

• One pause, from Insert pause, can be up to 10 minutes long.
• One download can produce up to 60 minutes of total audio. For anything longer, split the script into a few downloads at a natural break and join the finished MP3s afterward in any free audio editor or online joiner — GetMeAudio doesn't stitch separate downloads back together itself, but since each part already has its pauses and music mixed in, joining them is a plain concatenation, not a re-edit.
