Terms of Service

Effective: 24 October 2026. GetMeAudio (getmeaudio.com) is owned and operated by Swasti Ventures ("Company," "we," "us," "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and us. By using GetMeAudio, creating an account or buying AudioMinutes, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Eligibility and your account

  • You may create an account and buy AudioMinutes only if you are legally allowed to do so under the laws that apply to you, including any minimum age for entering into contracts and making purchases. If you use GetMeAudio for a business, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf.
  • Keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for everything done through your account. Tell us at support@getmeaudio.com straight away if you think someone else has used it.
  • One person, one account. Creating extra accounts to get more free Previews or starter benefits is not allowed.
  • Give us accurate details, including your billing country, which decides the prices, taxes and payment provider that apply to you.

2. The service

GetMeAudio turns your script into a finished voiceover using machine-generated (synthetic) voices supplied by third-party speech providers. Preview is free (within limits); you pay only when you Download. You write your script, Preview it in the same quality you will download (free, within the limits in §3), and Download the finished audio, paid for with prepaid AudioMinutes. We may add, change or remove features, tools, voices, languages and limits. If a provider retires a voice, we may offer a similar replacement voice.

Device-voice tool. Our Tools section includes an optional tool that plays your script with your own browser's or operating system's built-in voices. It runs entirely on your device, not on our servers, is free, and is not part of Preview or Download. Which voices you get, how good they are, and whether any are available at all depend on your device and are outside our control. We make no promise or warranty about it and accept no liability arising from it.

3. Previews: free, capped, and bonus Preview minutes

  • Free Previews are limited. Before you sign in you get a couple of short Preview clips. After you sign in you get a free Preview allowance that renews over rolling daily, weekly and monthly windows, and each clip is capped at about 30 seconds. Allowances are counted in Standard-equivalent minutes, so Natural voices use them faster. Current limits are shown in the app. We may change them at any time for future use. Free Previews are never unlimited.
  • Bonus Preview minutes. When you buy an AudioMinutes pack, you also receive bonus Preview minutes linked to that purchase. The amount is set when you buy. Bonus Preview minutes:
  • - can be used only for Previews, never for Downloads, and are used before your free allowance;
  • - expire together with the purchase they came with, 12 months from the date of purchase, whether or not that purchase's AudioMinutes have been used. Any unused bonus Preview minutes then lapse automatically and are not carried over, extended or reinstated;
  • - have no cash value and cannot be refunded, transferred, sold or exchanged for AudioMinutes;
  • - are cancelled if the purchase they came with is refunded, reversed, charged back or withdrawn from. A partial refund cancels them in proportion.
  • Preview audio is for evaluation only. Previews let you hear what your Download will sound like. The right to use audio commercially (§7) applies to audio you Download, not to Preview clips.

4. AudioMinutes and payments

  • AudioMinutes are prepaid credit for Downloads. They are not a wallet and not money, and they cannot be transferred, gifted or redeemed for cash.
  • Each purchase is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, as disclosed and agreed at checkout. Minutes are spent oldest-first, at the rates fixed when that purchase was made. AudioMinutes that are unused at the end of the 12 months expire and are forfeited. They are not refunded, extended or reinstated.
  • Downloads are charged on the length of the finished audio file, including pauses, at the rate for the voice's quality tier. Downloading the same audio again (same text, voice, settings and mix) is not charged again.
  • Prices, packs and rates may change, but changes apply only to future purchases, never to minutes you have already bought.
  • Payments are processed by a direct payment processor (customers billed in India) or an international merchant-of-record partner (customers billed outside India). They handle your card and payment details directly; we never see or store them.
  • Prices are shown excluding applicable taxes: GST is added at checkout in India, and VAT or sales tax where applicable elsewhere (collected by our merchant-of-record partner). The total, with tax, is shown before you pay.
  • Outside the EU (including the US and India), all sales are final. There are no cash refunds. If a Download fails or is charged incorrectly, we re-credit the minutes instead.
  • EU customers have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal: cancel within 14 days of purchase for a pro-rata refund of your unused minutes, using "Withdraw from contract here" in Account → your purchase. This is separate from, and in addition to, the re-credit for incorrect charges above.
  • If you start a chargeback or payment dispute for a charge that was valid, we may suspend your account while it is resolved. If the chargeback succeeds, we cancel the matching AudioMinutes and bonus Preview minutes.
  • If a price is shown in error, we may cancel the affected order and refund the payment in full.

5. Lawful use only

You must use GetMeAudio, and all audio, voices and other material generated with it ("Output"), only for lawful purposes and in line with every law and regulation that applies to you and to the places where you publish or use the Output. You must not use the service or any Output to:

  • break any law, or infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or personality rights;
  • impersonate a real person, or create audio that could reasonably be taken as the real voice or statement of an identifiable person (a "deepfake"), without that person's documented consent;
  • defraud, scam, phish or mislead anyone, or make automated or pre-recorded calls or messages that break telemarketing, anti-spam or consumer-protection laws;
  • create or spread election or political disinformation, or present synthetic speech as a genuine statement by a public official, news organisation or other real source;
  • create content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, hateful, or that incites violence or terrorism;
  • create sexual content involving minors, or any content that exploits or endangers children;
  • hide that audio is AI-generated where a law, regulation or the platform you publish on requires it to be labelled or disclosed;
  • resell the raw audio as a standalone voice or text-to-speech product, or use Output to train, test or improve any speech-synthesis or voice model;
  • reverse-engineer, scrape, overload or interfere with the service, or get around Preview limits, quotas or security measures (for example with automation, multiple accounts or shared accounts).

It is your responsibility to check that your use is lawful, including meeting any requirement to label AI-generated or synthetic content.

6. You are responsible for your content and Output

  • You are solely responsible for the scripts you submit, the Output you generate, and how you or anyone you share it with uses, publishes or distributes it.
  • GetMeAudio is a tool. We do not write, review, approve or endorse your scripts or Output, and we are not responsible or liable for any use of Output, or for any loss, claim or harm that results from it.
  • We may (but are not obliged to) investigate suspected misuse; refuse to generate or deliver audio; remove stored content; suspend or close accounts; and report unlawful activity to, and cooperate with, law enforcement and regulators.
  • Indemnity. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Swasti Ventures, its owners, staff and service providers against any claim, loss, liability, penalty or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your scripts, your Output or your use of it, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

7. Ownership and licences

  • Your scripts stay yours. You give us only the licence needed to process, synthesise, cache and deliver your audio, to run and secure the service, and to enforce these Terms.
  • Downloaded audio. As long as you follow these Terms and the Download has been paid for, you may use the audio you download for any lawful purpose, including commercially (videos, ads, podcasts, courses, client work). We claim no ownership of your Downloaded audio. Other users using the same text and voice may get similar or identical audio, so your rights are not exclusive.
  • Voices and the service stay ours or our providers'. You get no rights in the voice models, voice names, the GetMeAudio software or brand, or any speech provider's trademarks. Do not suggest that we, a voice provider, or any real person behind a voice endorses your content.
  • Music you upload. If you upload your own background music, you confirm you have the right to use it. We store it only so you can download your project again, and delete it after 30 days.
  • Feedback. If you send us suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.

8. Fair use

Preview limits, clip caps, and daily, weekly and monthly allowances exist to keep free previewing sustainable. If you get around them (automation, account farming, scraping voices), we may suspend your account. We may also slow down or block abusive traffic to protect the service.

9. Third-party services and software

Voices are generated by third-party speech providers, and payments are handled by third-party payment providers. We are not responsible for outages or changes on their side. GetMeAudio's in-browser audio processing uses open-source software under licences that require notice. See open-source notices for the components, licences and corresponding source.

10. Suspension and termination

  • You can stop using GetMeAudio at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@getmeaudio.com.
  • We may suspend or close your account, with notice where practical, if you breach these Terms, if we suspect fraud or abuse, or if the law requires it.
  • When an account is closed, unused AudioMinutes and bonus Preview minutes are forfeited and are not refunded, except where the law requires otherwise (including the EU 14-day withdrawal right).
  • Sections 4 (as it relates to amounts owed and forfeiture), 5, 6, 7, and 11–14 continue to apply after your account is closed.

11. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. Synthetic voices are machine-generated and may mispronounce words, change emphasis or produce unexpected results. Listen to your audio before you publish it. We do not guarantee that the service, or any particular voice or language, will be available without interruption.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent the law allows:

  • we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity;
  • our total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or takes away rights that consumer law in your country gives you and that cannot be waived.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Before starting any formal proceedings, please email support@getmeaudio.com so we can try to resolve the issue informally within 30 days. Subject to that, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India have exclusive jurisdiction.

14. General

  • Changes. We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and tell account holders about material changes. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
  • Force majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages at speech, hosting or payment providers.
  • Assignment. You may not transfer your account or these Terms. We may transfer them as part of a reorganisation, sale or transfer of the business.
  • Entire agreement and severability. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the service. If any part is unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it.
  • Notices. We may send you notices by email to your account address, or by posting them in the app.

15. Grievances and reporting misuse

To report misuse of GetMeAudio or audio made with it, or to raise a complaint, email support@getmeaudio.com with "Grievance" in the subject. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days.
