What you can do with the audio you download, and what you cannot.

Can I use the voiceovers commercially?

Yes. Downloaded voiceovers can be used in your videos, podcasts, ads, courses and client work, including monetised content, subject to the Terms of Service.

Can I use them on monetised YouTube videos?

Yes. Check the platform's own rules on synthetic or altered content, since those apply to you as the publisher.

Do I have to credit GetMeAudio?

No. Attribution is not required.

Can I use the audio for personal projects?

Yes. Personal and non-commercial use is fine too, under the same Terms of Service.

Can I use them for client work?

Yes. You can deliver the audio in projects you make for clients.

What is not allowed?

You cannot resell the raw audio as a standalone voice or text-to-speech product, use outputs to train or improve speech-synthesis models, or present a synthetic voice as a real, identifiable person without consent.

Who owns the audio I download?

Your scripts remain yours, and downloaded voiceovers are yours to use, including commercially, under the Terms of Service.

Can I use it in an audiobook I sell?

The commercial-use terms cover this, but each retailer has its own rules on synthetic narration, so check the store you plan to publish on.

Can I use uploaded music in my voiceover?

Only music you have the right to use. Rights in your own uploads stay with you.

Are there restrictions on what I can say?

Yes. The Terms of Service prohibit using the service for unlawful, deceptive or harassing content, or presenting a synthetic voice as a real, identifiable person without consent.
