What you get when you download, in which formats, and what the limits are.

What formats can I download?

MP3 and WAV. The WAV is uncompressed 24 kHz 16-bit PCM.

Which should I choose, MP3 or WAV?

MP3 is small and ready to publish. WAV is larger and suits editing in another program without losing quality.

How long can one download be?

Up to 60 minutes of audio. For longer projects, download in parts and join them afterwards in any audio editor. The cost is the same either way.

Can I download subtitles?

Yes. You can download SRT or VTT subtitles made from your script. Timing is sentence by sentence and auto-timed, not word-level.

Is there a watermark?

No. There is no watermark on previews or downloads.

Do I need an account to download?

Yes. You sign in to download, and downloads use your AudioMinutes balance.

How do I sign in?

You can sign in with an email address, using a password or a one-time code, or with Google.

What happens if a download fails?

Minutes for a failed download are re-credited. If something looks wrong, contact support from the Help page.

Can I download something I already paid for again?

Yes, and it is not billed again if the text, voice, speed, pauses and mix are unchanged.

Why is my file smaller than expected?

MP3 is compressed, so it is much smaller than a WAV of the same audio. About 1 MB a minute is typical for a 128 kbps MP3.

Can I get separate voice and music files?

The download has the voice and music mixed into one file. For separate tracks, download the voice without music and keep your music in your own editor.

Can I download on a phone?

Yes, GetMeAudio works in a mobile browser. Very long projects are better done on a computer, because the mix is made in your browser.
