How much does an audiobook chapter cost?
Downloads are billed per minute of audio from prepaid AudioMinutes, with no subscription: $0.15 per minute for Standard voices and $0.25 per minute for Natural voices. A 30-minute script is about $4.50 with a Standard voice or $7.50 with a Natural voice. Drafts and previews are not billed, and re-downloading the same unchanged audio is not billed again.
How long can one download be?
Up to 60 minutes of audio. For anything longer, download in parts and join them afterwards in any audio editor.
Is it free to try?
Drafts are free and unlimited, using a voice on your device. Short real-voice previews are free within an allowance, and you pay only when you download the finished audio.
