Add a Voiceover to Slides and Explainer Videos

Write the narration slide by slide, leave a pause for each transition, and download one audio file to lay under your deck or screen recording. No microphone or quiet room needed.

Write one script block per slide

  1. Put each slide's narration in its own paragraph.
  2. Add a pause at the end of each paragraph for the slide change.
  3. Play a free draft and check the total length.
  4. Download one audio file and line it up with the slides, or record it as a single narration track.

Importing the audio

Each presentation app handles audio a little differently, so use its own insert-audio option and check the current instructions for the version you use.

Key Capabilities

A pause for every slide change

Insert exact silences so the voice waits while the slide changes or an animation plays.

Time it before you pay

A free draft tells you how long the narration runs, so you can adjust the script to fit the slides.

Fit to a target length

Where a video must hit a set duration, the editor can adjust speed to fit the time you choose.

Clean audio to import

Download an MP3 or WAV and add it to PowerPoint, Google Slides, Keynote or a video editor.

Common Production Use Cases

Sales and pitch decks

A narrated deck that can be shared without a live presenter.

Internal briefings

Walk through a report or update as audio over slides.

Explainer videos

Product and how-it-works videos with a consistent voice.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a presentation voiceover cost?

Downloads are billed per minute of audio from prepaid AudioMinutes, with no subscription: $0.15 per minute for Standard voices and $0.25 per minute for Natural voices. A 8-minute script is about $1.20 with a Standard voice or $2.00 with a Natural voice. Drafts and previews are not billed, and re-downloading the same unchanged audio is not billed again.

Does it work with PowerPoint and Google Slides?

You download a normal MP3 or WAV and add it with the app's own audio option, or use it in a video editor over an exported video.

Is it free to try?

Drafts are free and unlimited, using a voice on your device. Short real-voice previews are free within an allowance, and you pay only when you download the finished audio.

Can I use the audio commercially?

Yes. Commercial use of the audio you download is included, subject to the Terms of Service. There is no watermark and no separate licence to buy.
