Can I add background music?
Yes. Pick a built-in track or upload your own MP3 or WAV. The music loops under your voice.
What is auto-ducking?
The music drops automatically while the voice speaks and rises again in the pauses. Volume and ducking are adjustable.
Is the music included in the download?
Yes. The downloaded file has the mix baked in, so you do not need another editor to combine them.
Can I upload my own music?
Yes, as MP3 or WAV, up to 8 MB and 5 minutes. Longer music is unnecessary because the track loops.
Do I have the right to use my uploaded music?
Only upload music you have the right to use in your project. The rights to your own music stay with you.
Are the built-in tracks royalty free?
The built-in music and effects are royalty-free for use in your voiceovers. See the Terms of Service for how downloaded audio may be used.
Can I add ambience like rain?
Yes. There are ambient scenes you can put under the voice, and you choose either a music track or a voice effect scene, not both at once.
Can I hear the music in a free draft?
Yes, the free draft plays the music mix so you can balance levels. Voice effects are only heard in the real cloud voice.
Does the mixing happen on a server?
The final mix is made in your browser, which is why there is a cap on the length of one download.
Can I use only the voice with no music?
Yes. Music is optional.
